The Inn is located in two historical, Victorian homes wrapped around an English village garden. The Inn has ten rooms bursting with elegance, tradition and great fun!

Bynum House was built in 1875, and has served as doctor’s offices and the county hospital for over 60 years. You will notice the “Surgery” sign in one of the windows. Five fabulous rooms, some with twelve foot ceilings, the Great Room and Tea Room are located in this portion of the Inn. The Tea Room is where breakfast is served. It comes with a full English or American breakfast as well as a lovely view of Clear Lake.

Sayre House was built in 1898, confirmed by the historical marker on site. It has four large rooms, each with a double Jacuzzi. In addition to the rooms is the “guest only” Lord Houghbies Pub. Many a rowdy game of British Trivial Pursuit is played in that room at the five o’clock Pub & Tea Thyme.

In the late 1800’s, the City of Lakeport had many English settlers. There was even a cricket field, if you can imagine in such a small town. So it seems an inn that is country English in tone and design is not so unusual in Lakeport. Come, celebrate, explore, and be pampered.

From Hwy-101- North of Ukiah:

• Take CA-101 South until arriving in the Willits area.
• After Willits take the CA-20 exit towards Upper Lake/Williams
• Follow CA-20 East until arriving at the exit for CA-29
• Take this exit heading South
• From CA-29 take the 11th Street Exit
• Make a left onto 11th Street
• Proceed on 11th Street until you reach Main Street
• Make a right onto Main Street
• The Lakeport English Inn is located on the corner of 7th and Main Street, on the right side of Main Street

From Hwy-101- South of Ukiah:

• Take CA-101 North until arriving in the Ukiah area.
• After Ukiah take the CA-20 exit towards Clear Lake
• Follow CA-20 towards Upper Lake/Williams until arriving at the exit for CA-29
• Take this exit heading South
• From CA-29 take the 11th Street Exit
• Make a left onto 11th Street
• Proceed on 11th Street until you reach Main Street
• Make a right onto Main Street
• The Lakeport English Inn is located on the corner of 7th and Main Street, on the right side of Main Street

From North Bay Area:

• From Interstate 80 take the CA-12 exit towards Napa/Sonoma
• Continue following signs leading to CA-29
• Highway 29 takes you through the Napa Valley, over the St. Helena Mountains, and into Lake County.
• In the city of Lower Lake follow CA-29 by making a left at the Lower Lake Intersection.
• From CA-29 take the 11th Street Exit
• Make a right onto 11th Street.
• Continue on down to Main Street and make a right onto Main Street
• The Lakeport English Inn is located on the corner of 7th and Main Street, on the right side of Main Street

From Sacramento Area:

• From Sacramento take Highway 5 North
• Continue on Highway 5 North until arriving in the town of Williams
• At this point look for the Highway 20 exit towards Clear Lake
• Make a left onto Highway 20 West
• Continue onto Highway 20 for about 57 miles
• Make a left on the Lakeport Cutoff Road, just past the large Sentry Market
• Follow this road and take the CA-29 South exit
• From CA-29 take the 11th Street/Scotts Valley Road Exit
• Turn left onto 11th Street
• Continue on to Main Street and make a right onto Main Street
• The Lakeport English Inn is just down the road on the right
