Konocti Harbor Inn was the original name of the resort that was built by the Plumbers Union of San Francisco as a place for members to relax with their families. Over the years many changes have been made with the concert schedule being the most recent addition. The nationally recognized entertainment venue brings many people to Lake County to enjoy a concert under the stars with a view of the lake.
Konocti, pronounced Ka-nock-tie, is named after the legendary Chief Konocti known to all six Pomo Tribes in Lake County. Konocti is the mountain upon whose base Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa is built.
The concerts are 20 to 25 minutes away on the same road as the inn, so you just step out the door and drive. When you reach a point where you think they could not possible have built a major concert arena on this road, you are there.
